In the year 2015, at age 19, she published her first single for her debut album Here. It was an instant hit, and both critics and people who loved it praised the song. The song reached the top spot at 19 on both the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the smash one of the best Songs of 2015. The same year, she dropped her debut album Know It All with the third single Scars to Your Beautiful being among the five original tracks which peaked on the Billboard charts, including those of the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician, was born in Canada on the 11th of July, 1996 to Italian parentage. Her parents gifted her with an instrument at only 10. It ignited her passion for music. As a teenager, she started covering songs she enjoyed on YouTube in order to show the public that she had the talent to be a singer and could not resist the opportunity to establish an opportunity as a musician.
